We are proud to be one of only a few wedding stationers who offer Civil Partnership
Invitations for those same sex couples who are about to take the plunge! Although
we are not a gay specific company (whatever that may be!) we have now been in the
stationery business for seven years and receive many orders from same-
Of those few stationers that do provide civil partnership stationery many only offer
you a few designs from their overall range -
We have printed hundreds and hundreds of orders (many were before the 5th December
2005 registration day) and we are proud to have printed the stationery for the first
ceremonies in Devon and Wales (and maybe for other regions of the country -
So whether you are having an extravagant, wild and perhaps just a little bit crazy
ceremony or maybe something a bit more subtle and formal we are well aware of just
how long many couples have waited to be able to have this legal recognition of their
union to each other -
Shown above are just some of the designs available. We realise that many couples want a design more subtle or traditional and dare we say less flamboyant than some of our cards! You may like to consider other designs such as “Traditional Script” or “Elegance”.
Our Civil Partnership stationery is available in all of our designs and colours but as standard the words “Civil Partnership” or “Ceremony of Commitment” will replace the usual “Wedding Invitation”. We are easily able to customise this wording should you prefer an alternative such as “Civil Partnership Invitation” etc. Of course as this is really your wedding day you may just want them to say “Wedding Invitation” anyway!
Please note that alternative wordings for the front of the cards may incur an additional charge to cover the cost of any printing plates that have to be engraved. This charge will usually be less than £5.50.
Don’t forget that we can also supply Evening Invitations, Menus, Order of the Day and Thank You cards together with Table Seating Plans and of course Save the Date Magnets (see below for a great alternative use of magnets!)

Used as a Reception Favour
“Congratulations On Your Civil Partnership” is foil printed on the front using a stylish script and a printed insert inside. A quality white envelope is included with each card.
They are available to buy individually for £2.65 or in packs of 5 in a single colour or as a mixed set which includes one of each colour for £9.95.

On the 17th November 2004 The House of Lords, passed the Civil Partnership Bill into Law, which then received Royal Ascent on the 18th November 2004. This act now allows gay couples to commit to one another in the eyes of the law with a Commitment Ceremony -
You have been able to formally register for the Civil Ceremony from the 5th December 2005. There is then a statutory waiting period of 15 days which means that the first ceremonies themselves were performed on the 21st December 2005.
